Measurements of 14C radioactivity in phytoplankton
Samples such as filters containing 14C radioactivity (e.g. from measurements of particulate phytoplankton production, preserved filters, and water samples) can be shipped to DHI for liquid scintillation counting.
An accredited report will subsequently be sent to the customer, containing counts in DPM (disintegrations per minute), as well as counting time for each sample and counting precision.
DHI A/S is accredited by DANAK (The Danish Accreditation Fund) to perform accredited measurements of 14C radioactivity in samples by liquid scintillation counting.
