Carbon 14 [14C]
Measurements of 14C radioactivity in phytoplankton.
Samples such as filters with 14C radioactivity, e.g., from measurements of particulate phytoplankton production, preserved filters, and water samples, can be shipped to DHI for liquid scintillation countings.
An accredited report containing counts in dpm (disintintegrations per minute), counting precision and counting time for each sample will subsequently be send to the customer.
DHI A/S is accredited by DANAK (The Danish Accreditation Fund) to carry out accredited measurements of 14C radioactivity in samples by liquid scintillation counting.
